Services and facilities :

Facilities in the recreation area include a 1,700m-long obstacle-free trail, trail explanations, a wooden plank path, an ecological pond, explanation boards, gazebos, picnic benches and chairs, public toilets, and free wheelchair and baby trolley borrowing service.

Opening hours of the obstacle-free trail: 8:00am to 6:00pm. Unauthorized vehicles are not allowed to enter the Erzihping area. No bicycles or motorcycles are allowed in the area.

Transportation :

Take the Yangjin Highway and turn onto Beixian-101a Highway (Bailaka Highway) at the Siaoguanyin Stop near the highest point of the highway. It is about 2km from the parking lot of the north entrance. Take the pebble path south for about 1.7km. Visitors can also take the Beixian-101 Highway from Sanjhih in Tamsui and turn onto Beixian-101a Highway (Bailaka Highway) from Beixinzhuang. It is about 5km from the parking lot at the entrance. It is also possible to take Fuxing Road in Beitou to Cingtian Temple at the south entrance of the trail. Climb the steps of the trail for 2 hours to get to the recreation area.

Notice for visitors :

1. Do not climb over fences or play by the pools to prevent accidents.
2. Weather changes are frequent in mountain areas. Please prepare rain gear and warm clothes for climbing and hiking.
3. There are many stray dogs in the area. Please be careful while walking. Please call the Beitou District Sanitation Inspection Division at 28229604 for stray dog reports.
4. Poisonous snakes and wasps are reported in the area. Please stay on the trail and do not enter the bush to prevent accidents.
5. Large vehicles are not allowed on the Beixian-101a Highway (Bailaka Highway). Fine for the offence is $1500.
