In order for the Yangmingshan National Park Headquarters （hereinafter referred to as the Headquarters） to service the vast number of visitors and provide high-quality recreational facilities for the public, Yangmingshan National Park Visitor Center and visitor service stations are closed on the last Monday of each month and on Chinese New Year's Eve. On other days, the visitor center and visitor service stations are open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and provide numerous services.
The last Monday （27th） of January 2020 coincides with the third day after the Chinese New Year, which is during the Chinese New Year holiday period. Therefore, the day that the Visitor Center and visitor service stations are closed in January 2020 will be moved to January 20, 2020, so that the Visitor Center and visitor service stations can continue to provide services to visitors going up the mountain to enjoy the spring flowers during the Chinese New Year holiday. The Headquarters would like to remind visitors who are going up the mountain to note the operating hours of the Visitor Center and each visitor service station to avoid unexpected problems.
Liu Pei-tung, Director of the Headquarters, indicated that the Chinese New Year holiday will bring large crowds to Yangmingshan, therefore visitors are advised to follow traffic control regulations; they are also encouraged to take buses 260, Red5, Small8, Small9, Small15, 109, 111, 230, 303, 681, and the Royal Bus （1717） to Yangmingshan. In addition, visitors can also take the 108 park tour bus to enjoy all the scenic spots at the national park, which will save visitors the hassle of worrying about traffic control and finding a parking space. Furthermore, please be mindful of the variable weather conditions on the mountains. Please prepare warm clothing, rain gear, as well as personal medication for your trip; please also pay attention to traffic safety.
