Start 2020 with First Day Mt. Qixing Hikes” May you be merry, safe and sound all the year!

As a new year comes round and everything looks fresh and gay, Yangmingshan National Park welcome all enthusiastic mountaineering and hikers to join the activity to greet the morning light on the New Year’s Day in happy moods and to come and enjoy the wonders of nature. On the way, hikers say “Happy New Year,” or “Best wishes for New Year” to one another. You will surround yourself with positive energy and inspire a positive vision on the first day.

Through taking different routes to ascend Qixingshan, the public can experience the beauty of the mountain while crowds visiting the mountain are diverted. All hiking routes are open to the public at the“Start 2020 with First Day Mt. Qixing Hikes” event. Starting from 8AM on the day of the event, souvenir vouchers will be available at 3 locations (300 vouchers per location): the Visitor Center, Xiaoyoukeng Visitor Center and Lengshuikeng Visitor Center. Visitors who receive a commemorative stamp on the voucher as proof of summit completion by the Headquarters staff or our volunteer guides before 12 PM may exchange the voucher at any one of the aforementioned locations for a souvenir gift. All who enjoy hiking are welcome to participate, and you can show three photos shot on 01/01/2020 in Yangmingshan National Park to get “2020 badge of squirrel in YMSNP” at 9:30 am at 3 visitor centers aforementioned (300 badges per location).
