How big is Yangmingshan National Park?

Yangmingshan National Park is located on the northern edge of the Taipei basin. It starts with in the east with the eastern side of Mt. Huangzui and Mt. Wuzhi and reached west to the western foothills of Mt. Xiangtian and Mt. Miantian. It extends north to Mt. Zhuzi and Mt. Tudigong. To the south it extends to the southern foothills of Mt. Shamao. Total area is approximately 11,455 hectares with varying elevation from 200 to 1,120 meters above sea level.

It overlaps with the administrative areas of Taipei city's Shilin and mountainous areas of Beitou district, and New Taipei city's Tamsui, Sanzhi, Shimen, Jinshan, and Wanli districts.
