This manual of the insects of Yangmingshan National Park is divided into three main parts. The first is the Encountering Insects part, which introduces the reader to the unique body structure of insects and things to look for when observing insects; the second part is Dancing With Insects, which details behaviors such as reproduction, growth, foraging for food, and defense mechanisms; the last part, Visiting the Bug Kingdom, introduces several locations within the park that are great for observing insects and describes in detail the environmental characteristics and commonly found insects in those locations.
