Yangmingshan Jing Shan Recreation Area is currently undergoing active renovation by the ROT team （Zhi Hui Environmental Technology Co., Ltd.）. Following the "Yangmingshan Fairy Patrol: Volcanic Insects Summer Camp", which took place in July, the Star Fountain Environment Academy will organize two one-day winter camps titled "Little Farmer's Craze for Harvest: Volcano Farming" on January 23 and 24, 2017. The camp members will visit Yangmingshan's Pingdeng Village, where they will learn about the abundant food sources provided by the land through visiting irrigation canals, harvesting vegetables, rolling up their sleeves to pick radishes, and preparing snacks with freshly-picked vegetables and fruits. They will also get to know the entire process from how food is grown to how it ends up in our stomachs. Hopefully, by understanding this process, they will learn to cherish the resources and protect this land.
