We invite you to spend a ”Leave No Trace” Mid-Autumn Festival at Lengshuikeng and Qingtiangang Grassland
"Leave No Trace" is an eco-friendly concept widely promoted in recent years for the protection of our natural environment, and serves as a reminder for us to be responsible and to care for the natural world in which we live. By lessening the impact of our outdoor recreations, we are better able to appreciate nature in all its glory and preserve our environmental resources for future generations. We hope that your visits to Lengshuikeng and Qingtiangang Grassland will not only afford you with relaxing walks and scenic views, but further enable you to understand the importance of environmental education and environmental ethics. National parks are home to multitudes of flora and fauna. Nighttime visitors should therefore keep in mind that this is the time of day wild creatures rest or forage for food, and that their rights of existence should be fully respected. When taking part in traditional Mid-Autumn festivities like star and moon-gazing at Lengshuikeng and Qingtiangang Grassland, please remember to keep your voice down so as not to disturb the wild rabbits, Oriental skylarks, Reeves's muntjacs, Chinese ferret-badgers, and Masked palm civets that live within these environs. We would like to again remind our visitors to respect wildlife and help protect and preserve our natural environment. Please do not smoke, set off fireworks, barbecue, build campfires or set up campsites. Remember also to bring your trash with you when you leave to maintain the magnificence of our national parks. For questions and detailed information, please call our service hotline: Qingtiangang Visitor Center, telephone number: (02)2861-5404 or 2861-2414 Mr. Lee.
