Section of Zhonghu Road of Armaments between Lengshuikeng and Qingtiangang Is Narrow and Winding: Drivers Urged to Exercise Caution
Recently, two separate accidents occurred on the section of Zhonghu Road of Armaments between Lengshuikeng and Qingtiangang resulting in vehicles careening off the side of the road. Drivers are urged to exercise extreme caution when traversing this area.
The aforementioned section of Zhonghu Road of Armaments is different from ordinary roads, and driving along it requires drivers to pay special attention. To increase safety, double yellow lines and warning signs at sharp turns have been implemented along the entire stretch of the road. The various roads that wind through Yangmingshan National Park are narrow and have many sharp turns. During rainy and foggy conditions, drivers visiting the Park should always drive slowly and never overtake other vehicles. In addition, drivers must obey traffic signs at all times.
When planning a trip to Yangmingshan National Park, the Park Headquarters strongly recommends that visitors consider taking public transportation. For example, the S15 bus can be ridden to reach both Lengshuikeng and Qingtiangang. For more details regarding transportation options, please visit the official Yangmingshan National Park website (http://www.ymsnp.gov.tw/) and click on "Bus Routes & Times" under the " Plan your trip" section. Visitors are also invited to enjoy the pleasure of hiking through our comprehensive trail network which can be used to reach the Park's numerous scenic spots.
