2014 National Park Week Event Series —“The Yangmingshan Nature Experience” invites you to return to nature
How long has it been since you communed with nature? When did you last enjoy the fragrance of flowers blossoming in the wild? When did you last listen to a symphony of birds and insects? Do you feel less energized, or feel a heaviness you can’t shake off? The essence of nature, with all the magical qualities of herbal fragrances and pure, refreshing air, will comfort your spirit and invigorate your mind!
We are offering event participants an opportunity to experience the soothing qualities of “flow learning,” a process in which we guide you to relax your mind, moderate your pace, and open your mind and body up to all that nature has to give. Participants may choose to become a creature of the wild, such as a grasshopper, a leaf, a cloud, or even trace the footprints of a tiny ant, so that they may feel connected to the countless living organisms thriving in our biosphere. We hope that this unique experience will help you discover your inherent love for nature and natural things, to learn from and to treasure the miracles of life.
The Yangmingshan National Park Headquarters will be holding “Yangmingshan Nature Experience” day tours on September 3, 10, 18, and 25, as well as October 1, 8, 14, and 22. We welcome you to join us as we celebrate all the joys that the great outdoors has to offer, and to come away from this experience with an appreciation of nature and all its wonders.
