At 7:30 a.m. on the day of the event, Director Yong-Fa Lin and other unit chiefs, along with the event spokesperson, declared the seven "Leave No Trace" guidelines in front of the Lengshuikeng visitor center which marked the official start of mountaineering activities. The Director led the way up the Mt. Qixing main peak and participated in the press conference, promoting the spirit of "Leave No Trace", the correct way to conduct mountaineering activities.
