2009 YMSNP ”Images of Mt. Grass” Photography Competition Begins!
Do you remember having seen or heard the expression of “when you are with Mother Nature, please remember to take nothing but photos and leave nothing but footprints?” Now YMSNP is holding a photography contest so your master pieces can be shared by all!
Known as "Taipei’s garden," Yangmingshan is the source of Taipei’s water supplies, fresh air, and ecological habitats. Thanks to the easy access, it is also a popular destination for recreation, hiking, and relaxing. This beautiful place with rich natural resources and culture has different phases along with the seasonal changes. Have you actually taken the time to appreciate and take pictures of the cherry blossoms and awn that cover the entire mountains with dazzling colors?
To encourage the public to capture exciting and touching images of Yangmingshan, the "2009 Mt. Grass Photography Contest" invites you to share your images and words about the beautiful national park and let others learn to appreciate it, protect it, and understand the importance of natural preservations.
