The department appealed as follows as for the problem of the disqualification of colon bacillus found in the sampling inspection of the public bath house of Lengshuikeng by Consumer Protection Commission:
1. The public bath house of Lengshuikeng has been entrusted to the civilian management, and manufacturers will clean regularly according to the agreement.
2. It is difficult to carry out cleaning and maintenance work and sanitary control over tourists since the public bath house of Lengshuikeng belongs to open outdoor free hot spring resort, and there is still the problem of the disqualification of colon bacillus although manufacturers have enhanced cleaning on demand of the department.
3. Besides asking manufacturers to enhance cleaning, the department called on tourists to have a bath before going to the public bath house to maintain public health and to share with others instead of occupying the public bath house for a long time.
