What the Next Magazine reported about the Hot Spring Holiday Resort of Yangmingshan National Park is far from the known facts!
1. The New Project of the Passive Recreational Facilities and Relevant Ancillary Facilities of Jing Mountain Camping Site of Yangmingshan National Park is located in the recreation area of the national park and under the construction license of 2004 Yang Jian Zi Di No. 0006.
2. The department cancelled the construction license of A Building, B Building and 19 outdoor public showers of the above construction license of 2004 Yang Jian Zi Di No. 0006. on Nov. 26, 2007.
3. This construction project shall carry out Article 19 Clause 3 of standards for determining specific items and scope of environmental impact assessment according to its development activities and there shall be no need to implement environmental impact assessment. The case was replied by the Environment Agency on Aug. 21, 2007 with the Huan Shu Zi No. 0960063626 file and put on record.
4. The Jing Mountain Camping Site has applied and succeeded in obtaining the water license in Sep. 2002 legally.
5. With respect to the case, Minister Li of Ministry of the Interior made an inspection in May, 2006 and issued an order of correction, which proves that what the Next Magazine reported doesn’t square with the known facts.
