The fronts brought by the summer monsoon are expected to bring heavy rainfall to Taiwan. Dense fog in mountainous areas is especially prevalent in the afternoon. Poor visibility may affect visitor safety. Visitors should avoid hiking in the Park after noon, and are urged to exercise extra caution. 

In the event of an emergency, contact the Park Headquarters （02）2861-3601 or Yangmingshan Police Dept. （02）2861-3609 or 119. If you become lost while hiking in the mountains, remember to not panic and instead look for recognizable landmarks. A distress call can be made by dialing 110 or 119 on a mobile phone, which can aid in a rescue effort if necessary.
