Applications for ”Yangmingshan National Park 2012 Research and Conservation Project Presentation” Now Being Accepted

The annual research and conservation project presentation will be held on March 27, 2013 (Wed.) from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the lecture hall of Taipei City Teachers' In-Service Education Center. Participation is open to the general public. 

In 2012, the Headquarters completed 7 research projects on areas such as humanitarian history, animals, plants, the management of habitats, and environmental education. The presentation gathers brilliant research results made last year as well as the natural and cultural wonders of Yangmingshan National Park. Topics to be presented include: The data collection of Tan-Hsin Archives of Yangmingshan National Park, the conservation and resources survey of humanitarian landscape: a case study of the terrace irrigation canals, the feasibility assessment of preserving the historic sites around Dayoukeng and Yulu Historical Trail, the landscape conservation of Qingtiangang Grassland, the integration of ecological resources and environmental education promotional projects, and assessment of the base of environmental education. Under the concerted efforts of the organizers and their team members, the projects are sure to yield fruitful results. We look forward to your participation!
