Yangmingshan National Park would like to encourage everyone to capture the touching moments of every animal in the park and are therefore holding the Wildlife Ecology Photography Contest. The park hopes that contestants will be encouraged to explore the park's ecological resources in effort to allow the public to understand the importance of ecological conservation through photos and its information. Come and fall in love with Yangmingshan!
Eligible participants: Those who love natural photography and care for the ecology of National Parks

Theme: The wildlife within Yangmingshan National Park. Animals should be photographed under natural circumstances without human interference to express the relationship between the wildlife and its habitat.

Entry requirements: Single shot or multiple shot entries （up to four shots to form a single theme）. Photos may be positive, negative film or digital files. For positive and negative prints, please print out 8×10 inch color or black and white photographs. For digital photos, please submit them on a CD in .tiff or .jpg format over 10 megapixels, please provide NEF or RAW files if available）.

Awards and prizes: One gold, silver and bronze prize each; 10 "excellent" awards, 20 "preferred" awards, and 30 "selected" awards. The highest award amount is NT$ 20,000 and a certification of commendation.
