Mr. Yong-Fa Lin, director of the Yangmingshan National Park Headquarters, announced that after the revised Chinese version of the website officially went online in May, numerous messages voicing support for synchronized updates to the English and Japanese editions of the website were received from individuals overseas. In order to enable our friends abroad to more fully experience the beauty of Yangmingshan, Park Headquarters proceeded to carefully revise the Japanese and English versions of the website. We hope this will provide visitors and nature aficionados alike with the most intuitive and useful information to date, and we warmly welcome travelers from around the world to come and visit us!

The http://www.ymsnp.gov.tw/ website is the gateway to the Yangmingshan National Park's international multilingual welcome page. From this portal, visitors can reach the main page of the English and Japanese sites. Have you noticed how the visual design differs from the Chinese edition of the website? We eliminated complex and hard to understand content and created an "eco picture frame" to visually cycle through the park's scenic spots, unique species, volcanic landscapes, and more. Now you can discover a pristine, tranquil, and relaxing piece of paradise right next to the bustling city of Taipei!

At the upper right hand corner of the main page is the "open all boxes" button. Click it to enter. The Location link on the left side of the page introduces visitors to the park's location. You can zoom in using a world-view from Asia to Taiwan, then to the Greater Taipei Area, and finally on to Yangmingshan National Park itself! This enables visitors to gain a better understanding of the park's location before they visit; the latest news as well as information on the top scenic spots are conveniently located on the right side of the page.

The site's menus are comprised of different categories which expand with a single click, giving visitors quick access to the site's content and layout. From the site's six major categories, which include "Exploring Yangmingshan", "Recreation Information", and "Plan your trip", visitors can explore Yangmingshan visually and plan their itinerary with information on trails, bicycle trails, recommended routes, traffic, weather, as well as dining and accommodations.

This new edition also takes into account advances in mobile technology by offering an additional Mobile Version. Included content covers weather, traffic, scenic spots, trails, bicycle trails, recommended routes, and more, so visitors can easily navigate around the park!
