"Application for permission to pick arrow bamboo （including Usawa Cane） within Yangmingshan National Park boundaries operation guidelines" has been amended by the Ministry of the Interior on November 17, 2011 under No. 1000808314 and is effective immediately. In accordance to the growth period of arrow bamboo, bamboo shoot picking times have been adjusted to two seasons a year; the first season starts from February 15 to March 30, the second season from August 1 to November 30.
