In order to strengthen volcano monitoring and research for the Datun volcanoes, the Taiwan Volcano Observatory was established within Jingshan Nature Center. Interior Minister Ci-Ling Lin and National Science Council Vice Chairman Chen Zheng-Hong signed a memorandum of cooperation and completed the unveiling ceremony.
