The team visited Japan's Sakurajima Volcano Observatory, Aso Volcano Research Center and the Aso Volcano Museum from May 29 to June 1. They will draw on Japan's volcano monitoring experiences and volcano environmental education to plan the placement of the Datun volcano observatory and surrounding volcano education displays.
