The park invited Construction and Planning Agency Director Shi-Wen Ye to join in the festivities. The event started at 7:30 a.m. at Lengshuikeng; the total distance was approximately 3.85 km. In order to celebrate the Republic's 100 years, Yangmingshan Headquarters produced the special Centennial Commemorative Badge with limited release on the day of the event.
